Feb 25-March 1

Hello Class if you haven't heard I have finally created my Twitter account where you can follow me for announcements and educational material related to our courses.

This week we will be working with some of our community partners.

IN THE EVENT OF A SNOW DAY AND SCHOOLS ARE CLOSED, OUR OFF SITE TRIPS WILL ALSO BE CANCELLED.

MONDAY- During our gym class (PAF30) you will be doing course option sheets in the computer lab room 245  FORMS FORMS FORMS!

TUESDAY- 5 STAR FITNESS, be there for 12:30 dressed ready to go..if you get there early wait in the foyer for me.

WEDNESDAY- We have a guest speaker Dave Ribos.  Please read his biography attached below.  He will also be putting us through workout.

THURSDAY- We are in GYM A and Ms. French our Public Health Nurse will be joining us to discuss Disease Transmission.

Feb 18-22

Happy Family Day!!

As you know I am finally on twitter.  Please follow me @sherwoodPE for class reminders and updates, as well as a link to this blog.

This week we will be focusing on the FITT principle and it's importance of fitness and training.  Wednesday Brian will be running a circuit training session. Be sure to bring water and a towel.

Our fitness class will be held in Gym A.  We will be focusing on circuits and how
 they can effectively supplement your training.  Recall , you must continue to challenge your body, muscles have memory and will adapt quickly so it's important to change it up.

Feb 11-15


Attention SHSM Students

This week we will be determining our One Repetition Max on several machines.  Using this information we will be determining our Strength to Body Ratios.  Furthermore, this will give you a starting point for determining which weights you should be using that are appropriate to your goals.

In Health for Life we will be starting an assignment on determining what TOTAL FITNESS means to you.
We will be in the computer lab Monday starting research
